DRAFT — have your insurance agent or a Montana attorney review this wording before registration opens. RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK Bull Pine Haven 3D Archery Shoot 1. Risks. Archery and walking an outdoor course involve real risks, including injury from arrows, bows and other equipment; steep, uneven or slippery ground; weather; wildlife; and the actions of other people. I understand these risks and choose to take part. 2. Safety rules. I will follow all range rules and instructions from event staff. I will only shoot from the marked stakes, at the target in front of me, and never while anyone is downrange. Staff may remove anyone acting unsafely, without a refund. 3. Equipment. I am responsible for making sure my own equipment is safe and in good condition. 4. Release. To the fullest extent allowed by Montana law, I release Bull Pine Haven, its owners, the landowners, sponsors, volunteers and staff from any claims for injury, loss or damage arising from my participation, and agree not to sue them, except for harm caused by their gross negligence or willful misconduct. 5. Medical care. I allow event staff to arrange emergency medical care for me if needed, and I am responsible for its cost. 6. Minors. If I am registering anyone under 18, I am their parent or legal guardian, I agree to this waiver on their behalf, and I will supervise them during the event. 7. Camping. Camping on the property is at my own risk, and I will follow the camping rules.
